Join us for our Statewide Preservation and Main Street Conference to be held at Campbell’s, Lake Chelan’s Waterfront Resort in historic downtown Chelan. The conference will feature a variety of sessions and tours relating to the revitalization of our historic communities and resources on May 23 and 24. We will also be offering pre-conference workshops on May 22.

Auction proceeds will benefit the Main Street Mentorship Program, enabling communities across the state to connect with Main Street experts. (BALLE) Fellow and Director of Research and Marketing at Cutting Edge Capital
. An economist, attorney, author, and entrepreneur, Michael has authored, coauthored, or edited seven books, including The Small Mart Revolution: How Local Businesses Are Beating the Global Competition
(Berrett-Koehler, 2006) and Going Local: Creating Self-Reliant Communities in the Global Age
(Free Press, 1998). The Small-Mart Revolution was awarded a bronze medal for best business book by the Independent Publishers’ Association. The Future Remembered
Seattle's Book-It Repertory Theatre
will be performing on the evening of Tuesday, May 22! Book-It has adapted the retrospective book, The Future Remembered
, that recalls the formal and the funky, the weird and the wonderful event that put Seattle on the national map: the 1962 World's Fair and we are thrilled to have them performing this piece as part of the conference.

2012 Excellence on Main Awards
Help us celebrate achievements in preservation and revitalization in Washington’s Main Street Network! Nominate your downtown project for an Excellence on Main Award. The awards are open to communities affiliated with the Washington State Main Street Network, including Designated Main Street Communities, Main Street Tax Credit Incentive Program Communities and Affiliates.
