Keynote Speaker: Cheryl Hargrove

A 35-year travel industry veteran, Hargrove is best known as the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s first Director of Heritage Tourism. While at the National Trust, she developed the key steps and principles for sustainable tourism focusing on history and culture. She recently served as Associate Director of National Geographic’s Center for Sustainable Destinations where she assisted destinations develop and market their place-based experiences, along with producing several Geotourism MapGuides.

2016 Call for Session Proposals

This year, at RevitalizeWA, educational sessions will be organized into four areas of emphasis:
  1. organizational development;
  2. built environment & design;
  3. economic vitality; and
  4. promotions & engagement. 
The RevitalizeWA Planning Committee is seeking session proposals for RevitalizeWA 2016. Session proposals must be submitted to the Washington Trust electronically to no later than Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
