Join us this December for the Sivinski Holiday Benefit—the Washington Trust’s annual celebration of preservation in our state! This year, to accommodate folks’ varying levels of comfort with travel and events, we’ll have two different ways to join in the festivities:
a limited-capacity in-person event and a fully virtual program.

All proceeds from the events will directly support the Sivinski Fund, a grant program that provides support to grassroots preservation projects from around the state. Both evenings, we’ll be announcing the 2022 Sivinski Fund grant recipients and sharing the inspiring stories of their on-the-ground preservation work.

In-person party: Tuesday, December 7

On Tuesday, December 7 from 5:30-8:30pm, we’re kicking things off with a fully in-person party at the Stimson-Green Mansion, the Washington Trust’s home base in Seattle. We’ll have all the holiday cheer you’ve come to expect from the Holiday Benefit, including festive attire, decorations, appetizers, an open bar, and our (in)famous raffle.

To keep everyone as safe as possible, we’re capping the event at 75 guests and limiting attendance to only Washington Trust members and their guests who have pre-purchased tickets online. Additionally, proof of vaccination will be required for all guests and event staff, and we kindly ask that all attendees be masked when not eating or drinking. For folks who are more comfortable outside, we’ll have our heated patio available—and decked out in full holiday gear. Tickets are $35 per person.

Virtual celebration: Wednesday, December 8

If you’re not ready to gather in person—or aren’t able to make the trek to Seattle—no problem! On Wednesday, December 8 at 5:00pm, we’re hosting a fully virtual version of the Holiday Benefit. But just because we’re online doesn’t mean you’ll be missing out on the fun. The virtual Holiday Benefit will include messages from the 2022 Sivinski grantees and a chance to come together with fellow preservationists from across the state. We’ll also be awarding prizes for the most festive outfits—so come ready to show off those ugly Christmas sweaters and other holiday costumes. Tickets are pay-what-you-can.
