Cultural Resource Consultants, LLC

Established in 2001, Cultural Resource Consultants, LLC (CRC) is a Washington State certified woman-owned small business based in Seattle. CRC offers a wide range of professional and technical services related to the identification, evaluation, and management of heritage resources. CRC staff exceed the Qualifications Standards of the Secretary of the Interior Standards for their disciplines of expertise (36 CFR 61) and follow the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation standard reporting protocol. CRC staff have expertise in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, National Environmental Policy Act, State Environmental Policy Act, and Governor’s Executive Order 05-05.

CRC has the necessary professional expertise, office and field resources, and access to public archival and research facilities required to complete a comprehensive suite of cultural resources discipline studies. CRC capabilities include cultural resources sensitivity evaluation; literature searches; cultural resources surveys to locate, identify, and evaluate archaeological and historic sites and built environment; data recovery and mitigation excavations; historic context studies; geomorphological/geoarchaeological investigations; National Register of Historic Places Nominations, and HABS/HAER recordation. CRC prepares technical reports, regulatory documents for state and federal compliance, cultural resources mitigation plans, Memoranda of Agreements, permit documentation, and cultural resources inventory forms. A CRC hallmark has been developing pragmatic project solutions that address the spirit and letter of cultural resource regulations.
