Join us for a cozy evening of silent reading in this historic mansion! Bring your books, knitting, journals, sketchbooks, chessboard, or any other quiet activity and enjoy them in the quiet company of others. We’ll have live piano in our historic library and quieter spaces throughout the house. Find a place to sit amongst the antiques and spend the evening in quiet community with others.

We are thrilled to share that this Silent Reading Night will feature a Friends of The Seattle Public Library pop-up shop! Friends of The Seattle Public Library have been supporting The Seattle Public Library since 1941. Through programs, advocacy, and events they help keep The Library and literacy at the center of the Seattle community.
