Join the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and Washington State Main Street Program for a watch party of the annual virtual gathering, Rural Assembly Everywhere, a virtual gathering for those who care about rural America. We are bringing together rural-minded and “rural-curious” folks in King County and beyond to think deeply about this year’s theme, A Bigger Pie: Cultivating Abundance in a Time of Scarcity. Whether you’re looking to connect with other rural-minded folks or ready to deepen your understanding of rural development, you won’t want to miss it!
Rural Assembly Everywhere is the annual virtual gathering of the Rural Assembly. This virtual broadcast features speakers, conversations, music, and other elements of rural culture. Now in its fifth year as a virtual gathering, Rural Assembly Everywhere brings together people from across the country who care deeply about their rural places, neighbors, and community issues. Rural Assembly is a program of The Center for Rural Strategies.
We will join viewers from around the nation at our screening at the Stimson-Green Mansion! Our day will began by tuning into the live, two-hour broadcast of Rural Assembly Everywhere. Following this screening, we will serve a catered boxed lunch and host small group discussions. Our day will conclude with a panel conversation featuring experts in the field of rural development. Panelists will share their reflections on the broadcast as well as to answer audience questions.
