St. Edward Seminary VIP Tour

The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to invite you to be our special guest on a VIP tour of the rehabilitation and renovation of St. Edward Seminary (located inside St. Edward State Park, Kenmore) next Wednesday, May 29! Join the Washington Trust and Daniels Real Estate developer Kevin Daniels on this hard-hat, invitation-only tour of one of the most exciting preservation projects in King County.

Built in 1930, St. Edward Seminary was an active seminary for Catholic priests until 1977, when the land was sold to the State of Washington and became St. Edward State Park. The seminary building itself sat empty and deteriorating for more than 40 years, when it was acquired by preservation champion Kevin Daniels of Daniels Real Estate, renowned for renovating historic properties like The Sanctuary in downtown Seattle. Now in the midst of a $50-million renovation, the seminary building is slated to reopen in 2020 as The Lodge at St. Edward, an 80-room hotel with event space, a spa, and a restaurant showcasing locally-sourced food–all within the beautiful St. Edward Park, surrounded by hiking trails with views of Lake Washington.

Space is limited, so we hope you can join us! Please RSVP via the form below if you plan to attend.
