A legacy of local preservation support
Each year, through the Valerie Sivinski Washington Preserves Fund, the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation provides grant funding to organizations across the state diligently working to preserve local historic resources. Since the first grant round in 1998, the Valerie Sivinski Fund has awarded over $200,000 worth in cash and building assessment services to 175 projects across the state to local historic preservation organizations and advocates.
Funding for the grant program comes from the proceeds raised at our annual Valerie Sivinski Holiday Benefit and from generous private donations to the Valerie Sivinski Fund throughout the year.
