At this year’s RevitalizeWA conference, we’re thrilled to announce that Jaebadiah Gardner, Managing Partner of Onpoint Real Estate, will present a keynote address during during Monday’s opening plenary! 

Jaebadiah’s presentation will focus on ownership. Whether we are discussing preservation or new development in real estate, ownership and access to ownership is a key factor. Drawing from his own experience, Jaebadiah will explore examples of community ownership models and attempt to rewire our thinking around creating accessible, sustainable real estate projects that provide opportunities for individuals from their communities to participate in building wealth.

Jaebadiah S. Gardner is an African-American, Mexican-American businessman, multi-family real estate developer, author, and Founder & CEO of GardnerGlobal, Inc., a privately held holding company focused on building wealth through investments, partnerships and community. Jaebadiah holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Western Michigan Law School. Prior to his role in development, Jaebadiah worked for Turner Construction building commercial high-rises in downtown Seattle. He has built up a client base of private and non-profit clients in the real estate development space and provides feasibility, pre-development and development services. His real estate services also include property management and brokerage. Jaebadiah has worked on publicly subsidized affordable housing projects, workforce housing and market rate projects in Seattle, bringing together city, private partners, community and design partners overcoming complex project hurdles. Throughout his career, he has created a niche in providing non-profit/public and private market development services. Jaebadiah has served as a part-time instructor for the University of Washington and Seattle Central College. He currently serves as a Trustee for the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, President of the University of Washington MAP Board, and Board Member for the Pike Place Senior Center and Food Bank.

Jaebadiah’s keynote address will take place during the conference’s opening plenary on Monday, April 6 at 4:00 pm. Access to the opening plenary is included as part of conference registration.
